COLUMBUS, Ohio A 17-year-old boy was hurt in a shooting in west Columbus Monday night.
Officers were called just after 9:30 p.m. to Chicago Avenue on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Columbus police say an 18-year-old man was shot in the arm Saturday morning while sitting in a car in the Linden area.
Officers went to the Ohio State East Hospital on a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
A Shotspotter alert showed that the shooting happened in the 1400 block of 1400 Myrtle Avenue after 12:20 a.m.
The victim told police he had been sitting in a vehicle with four friends near Linden Park. Another vehicle then drove by and fired two shots at the car.
The man was hit in the right forearm.
According to authorities, the car that dropped the victim off at the hospital left before officers arrived.
Columbus police say the shooting happened after the victim got into an argument with a suspect.

A 17-year-old girl was shot in the foot Friday night in north Columbus.
Officers went to the 4600 block of Glen Grove Lane near Morse Road and Cleveland Avenue just before 10 p.m. on a reported shooting.
Police say the victim confronted the suspect over a disagreement. The victim then pulled out a gun.
According to police, the suspect also had a gun and fired several shots.
The victim was hit in the left foot and taken to Riverside Medical Center in stable condition.

A man is recovering after someone fired 15 shots at people standing outside a bar in south Columbus, according to police.
Officers said it happened just after 1:30 a.m. outside Shots and Slices Bar on East Whittier Street.
The suspect pulled up in front of the bar in a dark-colored sedan and fired multiple shots.
Police said a man standing in front of the bar was hit with gunfire. He took himself to a local hospital and is expected to be OK.
