KMIZ COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Ragtag Film Society is set to host both online and socially distanced events to commemorate the day The True/False Film Festival would typically kick off. The Rites of Spring will have virtual events beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday with socially distanced events at the Boone County Courthouse Amphitheater scheduled to begin at noon Saturday. In-person events include a community fire ritual, group art installation as well as a movie screening. Other festivities include the third annual True/Love shopping event. Organizers partnered with local retailers and restaurants with 10 percent of Saturday s proceeds going towards supporting True/False.
