WEDNESDAY UPDATES: Boone County reports 57th COVID-19 related death
The state health department reported a record breaking rise in COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services is reporting one new coronavirus related death.
Officials say one individual was in the 80+ age group. That makes 57 total deaths since March.
The health department is reporting 117 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday.
The dashboard is currently reporting 780 active cases, a 40 case increase from Monday.
The county now has a reported total number of COVID-19 cases of 13,705 since March.
The county has reported the total number of cases removed from isolation is 12,868, an increase of 76 cases.
TUESDAY UPDATES: Cole County reports 90th COVID-19 related death

Cole County is reporting one new COVID-19 related death.
The county now has a total of 90 COVID-19 related deaths. The county has reported 43 of them are in long term care facilities and 47 of them are in the county at large.
The health department is also reporting 59 new cases.
That brings the total number of cases in the county to 6,646. When you add in the long term care facilities, that makes 6,896 cases since March 16.
Audrain County reports three COVID-19 related deaths
Audrain County Health Department is reporting three COVID-19 related deaths. That brings the total number of deaths in the county to 36.
MONDAY UPDATES: Missouri DHSS adds 97 COVID-19 related deaths to state dashboard
Missouri DHSS has added 97 COVID-19 related deaths after state’s disease surveillance system analyzed several death certificates.
Officails say the deaths will be captured and reported publicly through the dashboard Tuesday morning.
Thirty-two of these deaths occurred in November, and 65 occurred earlier in December.
Officials at DHSS report the weekly activity typically causes a sharp increase in the deaths added to Missouri’s total the following day. DHSS is now regularly analyzing death certificates on Mondays.
Officials say the state does not track probable or pending deaths.
