Beginning Wednesday, March 10, at 8:00 a.m. traffic on Columbia Park Trail, from Fowler Street to Columbia Center Boulevard, will shift to one-way traffic, eastbound only.
Othello FREE Food Distribution Event This Saturday From 11am-1pm
New Beginning Christian Community Church will be giving away food boxes to families in need throughout the month of February.
Four locations throughout the Tri-Cities and surrounding area will be the designated locations for people in need to receive boxes filled with items from local farms. The food boxes (MAY) include fresh dairy, protein, and produce. Each box will total approximately 30 pounds of food.
The Farmers to Families Program, organized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture is working with a Coronavirus food assistance program to help feed people all across the country.
Trump Rally Assault Suspects Due in Court (Again) Soon
After not appearing in court in November, the two suspects sought for the alleged assault on a Trump supporter at a rally along Columbia Center Boulevard are due in court again shortly.
Sept. 26 during a Trump rally along Columbia Center Boulevard, 21-year-old Jonathan Gilmour allegedly jumped out of a Cadillac SUV and head butted a participant, bloodying his face. It was first thought he had broken the man s nose. The driver, 24-year-old Brandon Jones, is a noted social justice leader in the Mid Columbia.
Both were due in court November 20th to be arraigned on their charges, Gilmour for 4th Degree Assault, and Jones for Rendering Criminal Assistance 2nd Degree. According to court information, niether showed up.
