Search for Salem woman ends with five additional arrests | News, Sports, Jobs

BOARDMAN While assisting the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Boardman police arrested others in a local hotel. Officers were dispatched about 11 p.m. Sunday to the Red Roof Inn in Boardman to check a room for Crystal Hoskinson, 29, of Salem, a police report states. Using a master key, officers made entry after knocking on the door and receiving no response. Four people were seen when the door was opened: one woman and three men. The woman pushed the door closed, and reopened it when officers commanded her to do so, the report states. Hoskinson was one of the six people in the room.

EL fugitive caught in Pennsylvania | News, Sports, Jobs

sujhelyi@reviewonline.com EAST LIVERPOOL–A fugitive sought for the last couple weeks locally was nabbed in Beaver County, Pa., according to St. Clair Township police. Chippewa Township police captured John R. Sullivan Jr., 49, whose last known addresses were listed as Garner Road and Belmont Avenue, just before 3 p.m. Monday following St. Clair Township police receiving a tip earlier in the day of his whereabouts. According to Detective Greg Smith, they passed the information along to Chippewa Township, which included the plate information, where they picked him up near Darlington Road and state Route 51. Sullivan was driving a car owned by Ashley M. Smith, who was a passenger in the vehicle along with a juvenile. Due to Smith allegedly having invalid driving status, the car was towed from the scene when Sullivan was taken into custody on the felony charges.
