New Mexico United’s players and coaches are more than ready to experience some loud, supportive background noise at Isotopes Park.
After dropping three straight road matches and slipping out of a playoff position in the USL Championship’s Mountain Division, United returns home for back-to-back contests beginning with a Friday night matchup against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. NMU hosts Charleston Battery on Monday.
United coach Troy Lesesne referred to the homestand as “massive” during Thursday’s media conference, and he knows the club cannot depend entirely on its enthusiastic fan base to carry the load.

Injury doubts over Aubrey and Hodge; Eve hopes T&T’s versatile attack see off French Guiana
Trinidad and Tobago Men’s National Senior Team interim head coach Angus Eve will wait for as long as possible before finalising his starting team to face French Guiana tomorrow, with defenders Aubrey David and Triston Hodge both doubtful due to injury.
Trinidad and Tobago and French Guiana square off from 4.30pm in a Concacaf Gold Cup playoff contest at the Drv Pnk Stadium in Fort Lauderdale with a place in the group stage at stake. The winner advances to Group A alongside Mexico, Curaçao and El Salvador and will face Mexico on Saturday 10 July.
