In commemoration of World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, Kingston Creative is encouraging Jamaican creative entrepreneurs to get educated about the importance of protecting intellectual property. Discussions are slated to take place at the Creative Networking Meet-up on Friday, April 23, at 5 pm on YouTube. Kingston Creative is an Arts NGO focused on helping creatives to survive and thrive in a newly emerging digital space. As local artists pivot and go online to sell their paintings, crafts, music, fashion, books or even their dancehall classes, they are at risk if their intellectual property is not properly protected.

6th online edition of Ketevan Sacred Music Festival dazzles audiences Panaji, Apr 9 (UNI) The Ketevan, which was held virtually this year, awed thousands of worldwide viewers who tuned in to show their ongoing support and enthusiasm. Electric car sales here have powered ahead of market trends with growth of nearly 40% during 2020, the Belfast Telegraph can reveal. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders said 4,464 vehicles in the electric hybrid, fuel cell, plug-in hybrid and pure electric categories have been sold so far this year, compared to 3,211 in 2019. In contrast, sales of all new cars have fallen by 30% to 34,475. Factors like increased choice and improved mileage capacity have led to the growth of the category.
