Simpli.fi gets a new investor and a new valuation of $1.5 billion

A Fort Worth-based producer of programmatic advertising has secured a new equity investment.
The investment in Simpli.fi, best known for helping media buying organizations perform effectively, comes from the Blackstone Group Inc., a New York-based investment firm. Terms of the deal were not made public, but the investment will be made through Blackstone’s private equity vehicle, joining Simpl.fi’s other major investor, GTCR.
