FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. â If you have a flight leaving from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, you might experience an unusual delay Thursday morning.
All of the entrance roadways to the airport were closed for hours due to suspicious wires in a car, according to the Broward County Sheriff s Office.
Deputes were called at 1:10 a.m. regarding suspicious wires found in a vehicle parked on the upper level of the airport. BSO s Bomb Squad responded to the scene and determined that the wires were not a threat.
