The province has announced stay-at-home orders will be extended to Feb. 16 for Waterloo region, Guelph, Wellington County and Dufferin County. Meanwhile, Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday while Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph reported 65 over the weekend.

About 34 people with the virus are in hospital in Waterloo region.(CBC)
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported two COVID-19-linked deaths on Sunday.
That means 209 people with the virus have died in the region since the start of the pandemic.
Seven more people with the virus were hospitalized, the region reported on Saturday. A total of 34 people are in hospital with nine in the intensive care unit.
71 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Thursday
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 71 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, the highest number in almost a week. Active cases also rose to 463, from 434 on Wednesday, but the number of people hospitalized dropped by seven to 27.

Waterloo region saw 28 cases of COVID-19 reported on Tuesday. That s the lowest single-day number of cases since November. The region also reported one new death.

Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 28 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday the lowest single-day number of cases since November.
The day public health reported a day with cases in the 20s was Nov. 19 when the region reported 24 cases.
That brings the total number of cases in February to 70 and since last March to 9,502. Of those, 8,809 have been marked as resolved.
5 COVID-19-linked deaths reported over weekend in Waterloo region
Four deaths were reported Saturday and one on Sunday. That means 203 people who tested positive for the virus have died since March 2020.
