Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is divesting a 49% minority stake in a 487MW Spanish wind farm portfolio.
CIP, through its fund Copenhagen Infrastructure 3 K/S (CI-3), has entered into an agreement to divest a 49% stake in the Monegros wind portfolio to a fund managed by Arjun Infrastructure Partners.
The Monegros portfolio consists of 12 onshore wind farms located in Aragon.
CIP senior partner Christian Skakkebaek said: “We welcome Arjun as partner in the Monegros portfolio and are pleased to enter in this transaction that recognises the value generated so far by CIP and its partners during the development and construction phase of this high-quality portfolio.

Former CEO of MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, Jens Tommerup, joins the board of the Danish renewable energy technology company Floating Power Plant.
Floating Power Plant, which is developing a combined wind and wave device, said Monday Tommerup believed floating offshore wind would be an important part of the future energy transition.
He said: I find the FPP-design of combining wind and wave energy intriguing. Utilizing the floater for energy storage or power-to-X units creates many opportunities to further improve the business case for offshore wind while also opening new market segments and business opportunities.”

The La Gan Wind Power Development Corporation has signed four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) covering foundation supply and harbour services for the 3.5 GW La Gan offshore wind farm in Vietnam.

The MoUs were signed with Vietnam-based suppliers: CS Wind Corporation, PTSC Mechanical and Construction, South Petroleum Construction J.S.C., and Vietsovpetro.
Under the MOUs, the La Gan offshore wind farm project and the suppliers will work together to promote offshore wind power in Vietnam.
In addition, the La Gan project will facilitate knowledge transfer and provide advice on foundation design facility layouts, logistics, and infrastructure requirements, which will enable the suppliers to serve the offshore wind market to international standards, the developer said.
