Man, 22, shot in Hunting Park, suffers critical injuries

HUNTING PARK - A shooting in Hunting Park has left a 22-year-old man in critical condition, officials said.
The shooting happened on the 4300 block of North Darien Street Tuesday night, just after 9.
The victim was shot in the head and an arm, authorities said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and listed in critical condition.
Police say they are seeking a motive into the shooting. No arrests have been made and no weapons have been found.

At 1:15 a.m., a 29-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were at a club on the 6400 block of Rising Sun Avenue when a gunman opened fire. The man was shot five times in the torso and once in the right arm while the woman was shot once in the right leg.
Both victims were taken to Einstein Hospital in stable condition.
At 1:58 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was shot once in the left thigh on the 500 block of South 54th Street. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in stable condition.
At 4:08 a.m., an 18-year-old man was on the 1600 block of West Lehigh Avenue when a gunman shot him once in the left thigh. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and placed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and a weapon has not been recovered. Police later towed away two cars from a nearby parking lot at Leverington Avenue and Baker Street. Investigators have not yet revealed if or how the two vehicles are related to the shooting. A music studio and an art studio share the parking lot.
The shooting occurred near several businesses and bars in Manayunk, a Philadelphia neighborhood not known for violence.
In May, Philadelphia joined 14 other cities as part of a nationwide effort to reduce violent crime. Mayor Jim Kenney is also set to sign a fiscal 2022 budget that would allocate more than $155 million to anti-violence programs.
