Tomb Raider Showrunner Tasha Huo Joins Red Sonja Movie

Tomb Raider Showrunner Tasha Huo Joins Red Sonja Movie ✖ Red Sonja continues to be one of the more popular fantasy characters around, but it s been difficult to get the Dynamite favorite to the big screen since the 1985 film. Things are moving in the right direction though, and now the project has a new writer in Tasha Huo (via THR). Huo is also showrunner and executive producer of the Netflix and Legendary Witcher: Blood Origin spinoff series. Now she s undertaking another beloved character with the Red Sonja reboot, which seems to be getting a renewed push by Millennium. The film will be pre-selling at next week s EFM, and Joey Soloway has been on board as director since 2009. The film has been in development at Millennium for quite some time but hopefully, this and the announcement that casting is set to start immediately are signs that things are moving forward towards actual production.

Mistakes From the 100 Worst Movies of All Time

Mistakes From the 100 Worst Movies of All Time By Madison Troyer, Stacker News On 12/20/20 at 12:00 PM EST The best movies create worlds with seemingly effortless magic. When a movie works, the audience doesn t notice the elements that construct a coherent sense of time and space. They re not thinking about lighting, camera movements, or the set, because they re immersed in the onscreen world. Continuity is invisible. A character opens a door, and the next cut shows a continuous action as the door opens in the next space with the character s hair and costume identical even if the two shots were filmed months apart. Good movies don t draw attention to their production.
