According to court documents, on June 6 Thompson allegedly entered a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 700 block of N. Wood River Avenue to commit theft. Bail was set at $50,000. In an unrelated case, Keith S. Ward, 36, listed as homeless, was charged with burglary, a Class 2 felony. That case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, on July 3 Ward allegedly entered a building in the 300 block of Oak Street, Cottage Hills, to commit theft.

Alexandra R. Stacey, 27, of Troy, was charged June 9 with unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony; unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Glen Carbon Police Department. According to court documents, on June 8 Stacey allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen Taurus 740 Slim .40 caliber handgun, without a Firearm Owners Identification Card and less than five grams of methamphetamine.

James D. Lautz II, 30, of Troy, and Kelsey T. McClelland, 32, of Washington Park, were both charged with aggravated unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, both Class 1 felonies, and three counts each of unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, all Class 2 felonies. The cases were presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, on Jan. 8 the two allegedly were in possession of stolen catalytic converters from numerous vehicles. The parts had been stolen from cars in Pocahontas.
