Midland Health Has Administered Over 50,000 COVID Vaccines But Not All to Midlanders

Midland Health Has Administered Over 50,000 COVID Vaccines But Not All to Midlanders Midland Health has given out those 50,000 shots but they say only about 30,000 have been to Midland County residents. According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Midland Health CEO Russell Meyers says about 20,000 doses have went to people from outside of Midland because they are not requiring anyone to be a resident of Midland County to get the vaccine. “We’ve got people from all over Texas who have come here and gotten vaccines, several hundred from El Paso, about 100 each from just about every town in the state,” Meyers said. “I think it’s a safe bet that at least 30,000 Midlanders have been vaccinated, maybe higher than that.”
