Chicago has its own rules

SPRINGFIELD â Gov. J.B. Pritzker reiterated Thursday that all Illinois residents age 16 and older will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine beginning Monday, April 12, as vaccine supply â but also virus transmission rates and hospitalizations â continues to increase.
More than 80 of the stateâs 102 counties, including Macon, have already opened eligibility to individuals age 16 and over in advance of the April 12 eligibility expansion date.
The decision to move to universal adult eligibility at each of the stateâs more than 1,000 vaccination sites outside the city of Chicago comes as a result of increased availability of vaccine doses, Pritzker said. The governor first announced the April 12 goal on March 18.

Charleston, IL -(Mattoon Radio)- The Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce will take over the operation and promotion of the 18th Street Farmers Market beginning this season, 2021. The market will still take place on Saturday mornings in the parking lot of the Coles County Health Department.
The season will run from May 29th to September 25th. Vendor applications will be available on the Chamber’s website soon.
