Panaji (Goa) [India], April 30 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that all coronavirus positive cases will be considered as home isolated unless someone is advised to be admitted at a COVID-19 hospital or a Covid Care Center. Goa government has decided to do away with the need for permissions for home isolation to asymptomatic COVID-19 patients. All positive cases will be considered as home isolated unless someone is advised to be admitted at COVID hospital or Covid Care Center, Sawant tweeted.
The home isolation kit may be obtained from respective health centers, he added.

PANAJI: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the state will start inoculation of those in the 18-45 age group against COVID-19 as and when vaccine doses are available.
The Union government earlier this month opened up vaccination for the entire adult population starting from May 1, but several states are facing supply constraints.

New Delhi: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday (April 28) announced that the state government will impose a lockdown from Thursday night till early Monday morning.
The decision comes in the view of rising COVID-19 infections in the state. Goa CM Pramod Sawant announced that the lockdown will start from Thursday (April 29) 7 pm and will remain in place till Monday (May 3) morning.
While addressing the press, the Chief Minister said, “People should not panic. All grocery stores and essential services will be allowed to operate, I also urge migrant labourers not to leave the state.”
