Around this time last year, the Cohasset High Class of 2020 found out they would not be having their regularly scheduled graduation.
Still in the early goings of the pandemic, graduation was initially postponed, and then later canceled after concerns surrounding a party in town forced administration’s hand.
Seniors instead participated in Diploma Day at the South Shore Music Circus; a sort of graduation-lite.
Cohasset High’s administration got creative to give their graduating class the best senior spring the pandemic would allow, hosting drive-in movie events and posting signs on campus.
With a little help from the town, they were even able to erect yard signs across the Town Common, honoring each of the graduating seniors.
