The company intends to use the funds to develop a home camera based on its patented technologies.
The funding came from individual and angel investors while Japanese SoC manufacturer Socionext (a subsidiary of Panasonic) became a partner by providing video chips for the camera.
Led by Ruslan Vinahradau, founder and CEO, Zorachka is the developer of video software solutions and hardware products on a mission to create the best Hi-Tech devices and applications for Smart Home. The company, which works with industry leaders in optics and electronics, also announced an open Public Beta Program for its new product – Homam 64GB, a home camera with embedded storage that guarantees its users total privacy and security. Four years to work on its product, $12m of financing and support from Socionext allowed the company to develop a novel home camera with high picture quality, and AppStore eligible mobile apps. In 2020, Zorachka manufactured 3,000 cameras.
