EastEnders has announced that it is partnering with mental health charity Mind to tackle Isaac s schizophrenia storyline for Mental Health Awareness Week.
The BBC soap enlisted the help of Mind to accurately depict Isaac s condition on screen by providing guidance to writers, producers and actors. The charity also gave its insight into the life of those living with schizophrenia and how mental health issues are dealt with inside African Caribbean communities.
