CRESTLINE - It will be a Cinco de Mayo celebration like no other: The first 100 adults who get a COVID-19 vaccine during happy hour will get a free margarita.
Crawford County Public Health announced Wednesday that local business owner Joe Dzugan has agreed to sponsor the special vaccination clinic, 3 to 5 p.m. May 5 at Mi Cerrito Mexican Restaurant, 216 N. Seltzer St., Crestline. People must be 21 or older to get a Mi Cerrito coupon for a free margarita that night, but anyone 18 or older can get a free vaccination.
“Small businesses have been hit hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dzugan said in a news release issued by the health department. It is time for us to just do what needs to be done to get everything opened back up and allow us to enjoy our lives again. Getting vaccinated has everything to do with saving lives, saving businesses, and local economics.”
