The patient was understood to be from the Swansea area, though Public Health Wales did not confirm this, and had travelled back from Northern Italy. March 5: The patient was in Cardiff who had history of travel to Italy. The second patient was the first to be treated by the Welsh NHS, after the first confirmed case in Wales was treated in a special isolation unit in London.
