GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. A man was arrested for causing a house fire that killed three pets a week ago.
Gloucester County Sheriff s Office said 23-year-old Ta’Kuan Keontay Bingham from King and Queen County was taken into custody on Friday, Jan. 29 for setting a house on fire. This is the same home where he was once living.

Members of Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue were called to Gloucester Point Tuesday morning for the report of a vehicle in the water at a boat ramp. First arriving units found a vehicle in the water above its roof. An AVFR member put on a dry suit to check for occupants. A quick check showed no one in the vehicle. A line from a rescue unit was attached to the rear of the vehicle and it was then pulled up the ramp. Virginia Marine Resources Commission, Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia Institute of Marine Science personnel also assisted. There were no reported injuries and GCSO took over the scene. The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday morning that the submerged vehicle had been reported as stolen from Prince George County.

Possible sighting of missing woman from Gloucester

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - There was a possible sighting of Ashley Cerasole in the 1400 block of Richmond Rd. between 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman spotted said she was attempting to stop traffic so she could cross Richmond Rd. toward High Street.
She was reported to be wearing a white scarf, white sweater, jeans and her hair was lighter than depicted in the pictures.
