A 15-year-old boy has been remanded into custody accused of murdering a teenager.
The youth, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared before Cheltenham Youth Court accused of murdering 17-year-old Joshua Hall on April 16 at Cam sports club in Dursley, Gloucestershire.
He was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon, namely a knife.
The defendant, who was represented by solicitor Ian Kelcey, spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during a short hearing.
May Li, prosecuting, told the court the two charges were linked and invited them both to be sent to the crown court.

A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of Joshua Hall. Josh, 17, was stabbed at Cam Sports Club on Friday afternoon, and died at Southmead Hospital later that day - prompting Gloucestershire police to launch a murder investigation.
