Police find body in search for missing 25-year-old Gloucester man

Police have found a body in the search for a Gloucester man who was reported missing last night (Saturday). A force spokesman said: We re saddened to say a body has been found in the search for 25-year-old Javid who had been reported missing from Gloucester last night (Saturday). Police along with colleagues from Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service and the National Police Air Service were involved in an overnight search. Water searches took place and earlier this morning (Sunday) SARA located a body in the River Severn, near to Gloucester Docks. Javid s family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this extremely sad time.
