GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL Police say an argument over Snapchat is to blame for a 12-year-old boy stabbing another boy, 12, in the abdomen with a Batman novelty knife in Glendale Heights Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the 500 block of James Court for a reported fight just after 4 p.m. They found the victim with two stab wounds in his abdomen. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.

A 69-year-old Cadiz man has been charged with committing sex crimes against children from the early 1980s through 1986 in Illinois, according to a news release from the Glendale Heights Police Department.
Glendale Heights police arrested Howard S. Jones on Tuesday. He was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.
The case began in October 2019, when two adult victims alleged that Jones sexually abused them when they were children at a home in Glendale Heights. All the parties moved from Illinois in 1986.
Jones was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
