Chamber of Commerce across the province have been teaming up with the government to provide Rapid Antigen Tests for their members.
The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce has announced today, that over 2,000 COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Screening Kits have been distributed to their chamber as well as neighbours in Belleville and Prince Edward County.
Quinte West adds that 35 businesses have signed up to participate in the program.
COVID-19 Rapid Tests have been in the news all week as governments and organizations look at making tests more accessible.
The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce has announced that they have partnered with both level of governments to make sureCOVID-19 rapid tests are available to local businesses.
Free rapid tests will be available to small and medium-sized businesses in Quinte West. The tests will be distributed to businesses who have 150 employees or less. The Chamber says that this will be another way to curb the spread, reopen the economy safely, and make sure asymptomatic cases are identified before people enter the workplace.
