LAHORE: The High Performance department successfully delivered another complete and exciting tournament in the challenging Covid-19 period when the 33-match Pakistan Cup One-day Tournament 2020-21concluded here in Karachi on Sunday. After Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Central Punjab had shared the first-class Quaid-e-Azam Trophy earlier last month following the first-ever tied final in Pakistan first-class history, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Central Punjab by seven wickets in the 50-over final at the State Bank Stadium to add to the National T20 Cup to their collection. In the National T20 Cup final on 18 October, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had defeated Southern Punjab by 10 runs.

Islamabad, 16 September 2020:
Pakistan Cricket Board today signed a satellite broadcast deal for broadcast in Pakistan with PTV Sports and a further agreement to secure cable distribution with I-Media Communication Services. The agreements were signed in the presence of the Prime Minister who is the Patron of Pakistan Cricket Board. The broadcast deal will be for the 2020 to 2023 cycle.
The broadcasting arrangement is structured to provide for increasing revenues over the term of the cycle and PCB expects to earn in excess of US$200 million over the three year term.

Hasan hasn’t played any international cricket in the longest format in last two years. The last time he was seen in national whites was against the same opponent in 2019 at Wanderers in Johannesburg where the bowler got three wickets.
Since then, Hasan has been out due to multiple injury setbacks. However, he demonstrated remarkable performance in the recently concluded Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, bagging Man of the Tournament award that earned him a call back to the national squad as well.
Pakistan named a 17-player final squad against South Africa on Sunday. The two teams will play two Tests in Karachi and Rawalpindi from January 26 to February 8.
