One million Alameda County residents are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 or two-thirds of the county population, public health officials said Friday.
Of the residents 12 years old and older, 70.7% are fully vaccinated and about 83% have had at least one dose. It s been a long 7-month journey to get to this remarkable milestone in one of the largest and most diverse counties in the State, said Colleen Chawla, director of the Alameda County Health Care Services Agency.
