Students from an elite Sydney school went on a skiing trip to the Snowy Mountains despite thousands of other students forced to learn remotely.
Redlands school in Cremorne, on Sydney s lower north shore, sent 64 Year 9 and 10 students on the trip last weekend despite the city s lockdown.
The Anglican grammar school, with fees of $35,500 a year, runs a $17,000 annual program where study is combined with snow sports training during term three. Winter School provides the opportunity for students to develop their skills in skiing and snowboarding with an intensive high quality training program, the school s website describes the program, which has run since 1995.
