In a survey conducted by LocalCircles, it was found that 84% of Maharashtra residents want lockdown restrictions to continue till May 31. And the majority of the small businesses were in favour of the state government permitting them to operate in ‘home delivery mode only’ to minimise business disruption.

Even as Covid cases continue to drop in Mumbai, a large percentage of individuals more than 80% want the state government to extend the statewide lockdown till May 31, but also offer some respite to small businesses, online platform LocalCircles said in a letter to Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray.
