FLASHBACK: The meeting of the new Assembly Legislature of the THA, on Thursday 28 January 2021, which saw the first deadlock in voting on for a Presiding Officer.
History will be created as the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) and the Tobago Council of the People’s National Movement meet at the Assembly Legislature Building, Scarborough, at 4 pm Wednesday to discuss a joint transitional government to manage Tobago’s affairs.
This is the PNM’s first attempt in its 65-year history to join forces with another party to govern. If talks result in a power-sharing arrangement, it will be Tobago’s first coalition government.
