Family petitions IG over missing son

The family of a tanker driver, Mr Shelly Akponeware, an employee of Regardas Nigeria Limited, Sapele, who has been missing since October 16th 2020, has petitioned the Assistant General of Police, Zone 5, Benin City, DIBAL YAKADI,
The family, in a petition, urged the AIG to cause the company to produce their son, dead or alive.
The letter signed by Mr Emmanuel Akponeware, Shelly’s father and O.J Okorozie and Egbo and Associates, Legal Practitioners, titled: A case of criminal conspiracy and abduction of Mr Shelly Akponeware, against Jonathan Nani, Young Arrest, A.I Robert and Suleiman and the operational Regardas Abuja Termi manager explained that their son, an employee of the company (Regardas) was last seen on 16th of October and efforts to locate him or reach out to him has been abortive.

amended Rules of Professional Conducts for Legal Practitioners, 2020-herein after referred to as RPC, 2020 (which seeks to amend the 2007’s Rules of Professional Conducts for Legal Practitioners-herein after referred to as the 2007 RPC), which was made by the Chairman of the Bar Council- the Chairman of the Bar Council being the Honourable, the Attorney-General of the Federation the 2007’s Rules of Professional Conducts for Legal Practitioners-herein after referred to as the 2007 RPC).

Imo State government yesterday, graphically painted a picture of how the former governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha attempted to dupe the people of their university after N20 billion of public funds had been invested in the institution by the state government.
In a world Press conference in Owerri, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy Hon Declan Emelumba said the current government moved to recover Eastern Palm University, Ogboko from Okorocha when it became obvious that the former governor wanted to fraudulently appropriate the institution to himself.
