For the past few months Safe and Equal has been working with Labour MPs to demand full sick and isolation pay for all frontline Test Centre workers. Yesterday [29 March 2021], we received a letter from Sodexo confirming that Test Centre workers will now be entitled to full isolation pay and that this provision will be written into new Test Centre contracts when the government puts them out to tender in July 2021.

A leading food manufacturing firm has called on people to stop blaming their industry for the districtâs high Covid-19 infection rate.
South Holland has had one of the highest infection rates in the country - with the nature of food and factory work put forward as a possible explanation.
However, a spokesman for Bakkavor - which has sites in Spalding, Holbeach St Marks and Bourne - said it was unfair to blame business such as theirs.

You must not go to work, school or visit public areas.
Do not use public transport, like buses, trains, tubes or taxis and do not have visitors to your home.
Ask friends, family members or delivery services to carry our errands, such as getting groceries, medications or other shopping.
