The following incidents were listed by police in recent reports obtained through public records requests. The News-Messenger does not publish the names of suspects charged with misdemeanor offenses.
Feb. 25: Police responded to the 800 block of South Street for a domestic trouble call. A woman was arrested for domestic violence. When police arrived they found a woman an injury to her mouth and another had injuries to her face and chest. EMS responded to treat both.
The woman had a verbal argument and the one followed the other into her bedroom and then began wrestling. One woman punched the other and the other responded with a punch. Police arrested the woman who threw the first punch. and transported her to jail.

A sentence of consecutive prison terms for a man convicted of raping a child has been vacated by the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals. The court remanded the case of Robert Stull, of Green Springs, back to the Sandusky County Common Pleas Court for resentencing. A jury found Stull guilty in August 2019 of two counts of rape, with the specification the victim was under the age of 10, and two counts of gross sexual imposition involving other victims. He had pled not guilty.
