The enforcement action was taken by South Cambridgeshire District Council as a last resort following the residentâs failure to comply with a previously served Noise Abatement Notice and earlier verbal warnings.
Repeatedly breaching a Noise Abatement Notice under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 is a serious matter and seizure of the equipment highlights the enforcement options open to the Councilâs Environmental Health Team.
