The Chubbuck Lions Clubâs Special Needs Christmas Drive-thru at the Red Lion Hotel on Sunday was a success, according to Jodi Parrish of the Lions Club, who was one of the organizers of the yearly event. âIt went really well,â Parrish said. âWe were super happy with how it turned out.â She said they were so pleased they could come up with something for residents with special needs despite all the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. × Story continues below video Parrish says the event, which drew 200 to 300 people, brightened up the day for a lot of people during the Christmas season.

Chubbuck Lions Club hosts Special Needs Christmas Drive-Thru KIFI POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Pocatello community felt the Christmas spirit on Sunday. The Chubbuck Lions Club held a Special Needs Christmas Drive-Thru at the Red Lion Hotel. Traditionally, the club holds a Christmas dinner every year for the special needs community, but due to COVID-19, the dinner could not take place. That didn t stop event organizer Daniel Parrish from finding a way to make this happen. These people, these amazing members of our community, I ve grown up with them, Parrish said. They re my friends. The idea of not doing something for them this year just wasn t an option for us.
