After nearly two decades running a popular ice cream shop and diner in town, Bill Morgan has opened a fresh seafood store right across the street from his other business.
A soft opening was held Wednesday for Morgan s Harbor to Hill, at 8A Lumber St. The standalone store sits diagonally from The Spoon (1 Lumber St., No. 102), which Morgan ran for 19 years.
“I had always liked the idea of opening up my own seafood shop,” said Morgan during an interview Thursday evening inside the small nautical-themed store, its interior walls painted cobalt-blue and the sound of lobster tanks humming.
