CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) Launches it’s Time Los Angeles, a Vaccine Awareness Campaign to Aid its Vaccine Distribution Efforts

Continuing their efforts to proactively address inequity in COVID-19 vaccine distribution and eliminate barriers to reaching the city’s most vulnerable populations, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) has formed a coalition of strategists and community leaders to launch a vaccination awareness and acceptance campaign aimed at reaching Los Angeles’s hardest hit communities, including Latino, Black and Asian American and Pacific Islander populations. The initiative, IT’S TIME LOS ANGELES, is a multiplatform campaign built by LA-based multicultural marketing firm AEM (American Entertainment Marketing) that aims to increase the rate of vaccinations for the city’s most vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities.

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - More vaccine opportunities are coming to Albany.

Sandtrap Lounge is one of the locations they will be offering vaccines, in order to get more shots in arms.
The site is open Thursday and Saturday from 2-6 p.m.
Site Developer Jarmarkus Watson said they chose specific locations after speaking with public health.
âThey tell us what the need is. If itâs a priority area or priority site. They let us know what the demographic is if they need any translators. We just mobilize our team and our efforts in getting those things for those areas,â said Watson.

âCORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and strengthening communities affected by or vulnerable to crisis. CORE has been working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020 and has the operational and logistical know-how to reach marginalized and vulnerable communities. CORE has administered over five million COVID-19 tests and one million COVID-19 vaccines.
