Good afternoon and thank you for inviting me here today to speak about the vital role we can all play as we overcome Covid-19.
I regret that we cannot be together today, that instead we are speaking through screens in a manner that has become familiar to us all by now. This pandemic has forced us all to adapt - and adapt fast in order to keep students learning during this historic pandemic.
AJ 40 under 40: Yẹmí Àlàdérun

Following spells at Mae and Barbara Weiss, AJ 40 under 40 architect Yẹmí Aládérun is now major projects manager at Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association
Following her studies at Kingston University, where she completed Parts 1-3 plus an additional architecture masters in ‘Thinking Building’, Àlàdérun’s passion for good-quality social housing began at the start of her career working for Mae on projects including Hillington Square in King’s Lynn for Freebridge Community Housing.
She went on to spend more than six years working at Barbara Weiss Architects, where she eventually became an associate, gaining more experience on residential schemes.
