Shroff, a BITS Pilani student, has been bagging awards for his work for the underpriveleged. The latest in Shroff’s kitty is the Diana Award for the year 2021 for raising over Rs 40,00,000 and inspiring 500 volunteers, to positively impact 5,000 children. Akarsh, a ‘Forbes
India Teenpreneur’ (20 under 20 entrepreneurs in India 2020) and ‘Ashoka Young Changemaker’ and the youngest ever recipient of the BITS Alumni Association’s Social Leadership Award, co-founded
SPARK in 2018.
SPARK, a student-run NGO, has coordinated more than 16,000 hours of volunteering at 11 centres. This encompassed four projects for Library Enrichment And Development, linguistic skill development, academic mentorship and interpersonal skill development.
