Archivist Elected to Lead Statewide Organization
University of Dayton associate archivist Amy Rohmiller was elected vice president/president-elect of the Society of Ohio Archivists (SOA) at the organization’s June meeting.
Rohmiller has served as a member of SOA’s advocacy and outreach committee since 2018 and as a member of the SOA Council since 2019.
“I am excited to build upon my knowledge and experiences within SOA,” Rohmiller shared. “It feels as though we are truly beginning a new chapter due to the many changes around us all.”
Her election coincides with SOA’s pivot to a virtual annual meeting in response to COVID-19 and the formation of a task force on social justice and Black Lives Matter.
