Driver dead in single-vehicle accident Saturday morning in Sumter

COLUMBIA (WOLO): A single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning resulted in the death of the driver.
The Sumter County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene on Packs Landing Road, in the Rimini portion of Sumter County at about 2:53 am.
Officials say the driver, 24-year-old Lynwood Cox, of Dalzell, was pronounced dead on scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The victim’s family has been notified. An autopsy will be performed Monday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Sumter County Coroner’s Office is investigating.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The Sumter County Coronerâs Office has identified the man killed in a multiple-vehicle collision Tuesday evening.
The accident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of US Hwy 15 South and Beulah Cuttino Road.
Officials say a Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on US Hwy 15 when it lost control and struck several other vehicles.
The driver, later identified as 46-year-old Jamie Montgomery, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. The Sumter County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating an accident that happened in Sumter on Wednesday.
According to the report, SCHP responded to a single car accident on the morning of April 21. The accident happened just before 1:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Beckwood Road.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.
An autopsy will be performed Friday morning at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
