Rep John Joyce: Republicans targeting him need a reality check

John Joyce has recently become the target of choice by a small number of disgruntled Republicans.  Their complaint?   It seems he met with President Joe Biden to discuss jobs for Pennsylvanians.  This public outcry by a handful of crabby Republicans is quite frankly ridiculous.   John Joyce is our U.S. Representative here in Pennsylvania s 13th congressional district.  The district contains all of Blair, Huntingdon, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin and Adams Counties. It also includes most of Somerset and parts of Westmoreland, Cambria, and Cumberland counties. The 13th congressional district is the most solid Republican district within Pennsylvania, and one of the most solid Republican districts in the country.

A virtual March for Life takes place under a changed Washington

A virtual March for Life takes place under a changed Washington The 2021 March for Life unfolded Friday mostly virtually under the cloud of a pandemic, encouraging participants to remain committed to the anti-abortion cause despite a Biden administration already drawing a sharp contrast from a Trump White House that partnered with the movement. The rally maintained much of its usual ethos despite shifting online, with appearances from faith, political and activist speakers, musical interludes and themed video segments. “As we enter the beginning of a new presidential administration, one that has signaled they will make divisive, pro-abortion, pro-death policy decisions like forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions here and abroad, while also sending more government funding to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood, we ask President Biden to consider unifying, pro-life policy decisions,” March for Life President Jeanne Mancini told participants at the virtual rally.
