A care home worker has slammed a flytipping fine after she was ordered to pay £120 for “dumping” a mattress outside her own home. Debbie Peck, 54, had propped the mattress up on the side of her home in Ashfields, Pitsea, but strong winds blew it over on Wednesday. The mum was totally unaware it had fallen and was now partially on council land outside her home.
