Former Formula One boss, barrister and privacy campaigner Max Mosley has died at age 81.
Mosley, who was a pupil at Somerset s Millfield School, was suffering from cancer, although his cause of death has not yet been announced.
Throughout his life, Mosley served as president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and was a titanic figure in Formula 1.
Speaking to The Mirror, his long-time friend and ex-F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone said: “Max was like family to me. We were like brothers. I am pleased in a way because he suffered for too long.”
