On Saturday, Kay delivered the devastating news through the Facebook page for Hagler s fans. I am sorry to make a very sad announcement, she wrote. Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire.
Ever since the news broke, there have been theories suggesting that the boxer died due to COVID-19, a talk Kay has firmly denied.
It all started when Hagler s former rival, Tommy Hearns, claimed that Hagler was admitted to the ICU due to the after-effects of the vaccine.

A social media post by former Major League Baseball player Aubrey Huff appears to blame the deaths of two sports legends on the coronavirus vaccine.
Huff, who has made several social media posts questioning vaccines, made his claim the day after Haglerâs death. His March 14 Instagram post read:
