A TEST FOR BIDEN PROMISE: If
Joe Biden moves quickly
to cancel the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, it will immediately test his promise to combat climate change while creating new high paying unions jobs in clean energy to replace fossil fuel-intensive ones.
A list of Biden’s day-one executive actions that circulated with stakeholders included directives that would rescind permits for the 2,000-mile oil pipeline, which would run from Alberta in western Canada to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
