That waiting room had several thousand people in it on Sunday. The Kansas Department of Labor announced Monday number of benefits available under the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program increased from 39 weeks to 50 weeks.
(Richmond)- The Virginia Employment Commission is launching the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation extension program today. It is for customers who have ran out all of their previous benefits, and it tacks on another eleven weeks of payments. People can begin applying for new benefits beginning this afternoon at four o'clock.
