International Human Solidarity Day is a day to celebrate our unity in diversity, a day to raise public awareness of the importance of solidarity, and to encourage ways to promote solidarity for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals including poverty eradication.
KSrelief firmly believes in the importance of solidarity to address the world’s most challenging needs, preserve human dignity, and create a better world; this reflects in the longstanding and effective partnerships that KSrelief has with over 140 partners from local and international organizations and UN agencies, who are working together and driven by the same goal to serve humanity and improve the lives of millions across the world.

Dec. 21 HÀ NỘI Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has approved a list of priority technologies for research and development in a bid to facilitate participation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
These belong to four areas, digital technologies, physics, biotechnology, and energy and environment.
Digital technologies include artificial intelligence, internet of things, big data analytics, blockchain, cloud computing, quantum computing, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, intelligence-remediation-adaptation cyber security, and precision agriculture.
Physics includes robots, unmanned aerial vehicles, 3D printing, nanotechnology, technology for designing and manufacturing micro and small satellites, and photonic technology.

UNITED NATIONS - Volkan Bozkir, president of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), on Sunday called for ensuring that COVID-19 vaccines are accessible to all people. More than ever, we must work together; as our hopes turn to vaccines for COVID-19, we must extend the same compassion and spirit of cooperation. We must ensure that decisions are not driven only by profit, or narrow national concerns, but by a need to protect all people, everywhere, the UNGA president said in a video message for the International Human Solidarity Day, which falls on Dec 20.

CANBERRA Australia s Prime Minister Scott Morrison has described Sydney s coronavirus outbreak only days before Christmas as incredibly frustrating.
The days since the outbreak was identified have been incredibly frustrating and disappointing for people all around the country who had plans in place to get together and move in between states, Morrison said Monday.

WASHINGTON Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai has extended his deepest condolences to the family of Ezra Vogel, a renowned sinologist who died at the age of 90 on Sunday. So sad to learn (about) the passing of Professor Ezra Vogel. He was an outstanding scholar on China and an old friend of the Chinese people, Cui tweeted hours after the Fairbank Center of Chinese Studies at Harvard University, where Vogel served as professor emeritus, announced the news.
